Mary Ann Engelhardt Obituary - Visitation & Funeral Information

Mary Ann Engelhardt, 74, of East Patchogue passed away peacefully on Tuesday, January 25th, 2022. Mary Ann was born October 1, 1947 to Joseph and Josephine Barbara (Ferro) in Manhattan, New York, and was the eldest of three children. After graduating from St. John’s University, Mary Ann enjoyed a successful teaching career and retirement from Patchogue-Medford School District. She influenced many young lives, met her husband, Walter J. Engelhardt, and raised her family all in the East Patchogue, LI community. In addition to her love of learning, Mary Ann had a passion for traveling, good food, cooking, but most of all, her family. She is predeceased by her parents, beloved husband, brother, Francis Barbara, and sons, Walter E. Engelhardt, and Anthony J. Engelhardt. Mary Ann is survived by her sister Geraldine Barbara, her sister-in-law, Michelle Barbara, her children, Kathleen Stone (Charles), Joseph Engelhardt (Kathy), and Christine Palermo, her grandchildren, Michael and Daniel Stone, Elena Palermo, and many loving family and friends. Reposing at Robertaccio Funeral Home, 85 Medford Avenue, Patchogue, LI. Visitation will be held on Friday, January 28th from 2-4 and 7-9 PM. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Monday at 10 AM at St. Francis De Sales Catholic Church, 7 Amity St. Patchogue. Everyone will meet at church Monday morning at 10 am. Interment to follow at St. Charles Cemetery.
